UPDATED - How to Complete Your Form I-9 & Other Onboarding Paperwork in Dayforce (New Hires/Rehires)
CPY partners with HireRight to process Form I-9's, which verifies your work authorization to legally work in the United States. Whether you are a new hire or a returning team member, your Form I-9 must be complete within three days of your hire date to stay compliant with Federal Guidelines.
Your hire date is the day you are officially employed with CorePower Yoga. This may not be the day that you work your first shift in studio but is considered 'Day 1' of the 3-days you have to fully complete your Form I-9. IMPORTANT: If you do not have time arranged with your manager to bring in your Work Authorization documents for them to complete Section 1 of the Form I-9 by the end of the third day from the above hire date. Please reach out to your studio manager about updating your hire date within Dayforce.
Section 1 of the Form I-9 can be completed at any time leading up to when you start with CPY. It is strongly encouraged to have this step completed prior to meeting with your studio manager to present your Work Authorization documents for your Form I-9 to be completed.

The Form I-9 lives within your Onboarding paperwork section of your Dayforce account. The link to your Dayforce account will be sent to you via a 'Welcome Email' once your manager has completed your hire. The email will have the subject of 'Welcome to CorePower Yoga! Follow the below steps to then complete your I-9 Form' or follow the directions below:
To complete your section 1 of your Form I-9:
- When logging into Dayforce, select the 'Onboarding - Start Here' role
- Under the section ‘Your Onboarding Forms’ you will see the Form I-9 section (Either click on 'Your Onboarding Form's or scroll down on screen)
- Follow the directions and complete Section 1 of the Form I-9
- Click on the blue link below labeled ‘Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verifications’.
- Your Form I-9 will open in a new/pop up window from HireRight and prompt you to complete Section 1.
- Your I9 form status should not show as 'Pending Employer'
- Please provide your Form I-9 supporting documents (Form I-9 Acceptable Documents | USCIS) to your Studio Manager by your hire date so they can review and complete Section 2 of your Form I-9 and upload your supporting docs.
To complete your remaining Onboarding Paperwork:
Scroll down to find the 'Complete Your Remaining Onboarding Paperwork' section
Click on the blue arrow to open this on
Below Click on the arrow below labeled ‘Complete Onboarding Paperwork'.
Click 'Start' to complete each required forms.
Once the form is completed, click 'Submit'.
All forms should appear with the 'Submitted' or 'Completed' status
Troubleshooting your Form I-9:
- If you experience issues opening/submitting a page, please try clearing your browser History, Cookies & Cache and/or use an alternative web browser (specifically avoid Safari).
- Please ensure that the name you fill out on your Form I-9 matches the legal name that is on your supporting document(s). Your supporting documents must match the name that is on your Form I-9 for it to be valid.
